The Forgotten Art
In our world, visual cues are an increasing dependence. Because visuals compel our attention, it is easy to forget the power and necessity of language. Words well chosen create a bond between an author, product, or advertisement and the reader, user, or shopper. Good writing is concise communication, linking the intended message to the recipient. It is emotion; it is power.
I am currently seeking work as a writer or editor; or as I once wrote in my résumé: a chance to aid in the world of writing or editing by means of considerable talent (arrogance not included!).
